Natalie's Score: 90/100

From Dandelion Vineyards in the Barossa Valley wine region, Menagerie Of The Barossa 2019 is a rich, full-bodied Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro red wine blend, fresh and fragrant with earthy florals, cedar brush spice, dark cherry, mint and savoury herbs textured, spicy and rounded on the palate with vibrant balanced acidity for food. Tannins are firm and grippy, so decant this wine prior to pouring it with burgers and ribs from the grill. Drink or hold.

Grenache Shiraz Mataro food pairings: roast chicken, turkey, pepper steak, pork cutlets.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
