Reviews and Ratings

Shelley Harris rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A full-bodied red, full of berry and spice overtones and a hint of pepper. Smooth and well-balanced. Paired well with barbecued butterflied lamb roast that had been marinated in garlic and Dijon mustard.
Alan Dunne rated this wine as 87/100
James Belardo rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Cusumano is one of Sicily's most popular wine exports and for good reason. Their Syrah is an example of a very pleasant tasting inexpensive wine. It has qualities that make it great everyday wine even if it's not one their premiere products. It's also wonderful for cooking since it's full-bodied and flavorful. If it weren't for my love for the Nero D'Avola grape, this Syrah would find it's way to my glass much more often!

Spicy berry aromas. Medium to full bodied wine displaying flavours of berries, cassis & spice.
