Nice power and great length on this wine offering a more than interesting blend of red and black fruit evolving to a more berry pie flavours. Correct sweetness level for a California red blend. A great buy if you are willing to abandon the psychological need to see a vintage year on the label.

I can see the broad appeal of this wine for many who might be new to drinking wine or like a bit of sweetness in a red. It has a pretty good balance with ripe and jammy berry notes as well as some mocha and a hint of warm spice. Smooth on the palate, with some RS but not as much as I thought from my preconceptions with the name "cupcake" on the label. Great for weeknight meals or girls' nights.
