Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Very fun yet complex Gran Reserva. There’s plenty going on in the glass with ripe cherry, fresh and dried tobacco and herbs, hung meat and cool spice. 92 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely! This Rioja is Gran Reserva, meaning 60 months aging with at least 2 in barrel. Aromas of dark cherry, leather, and warm vanilla and spice. Full bodied, acidity is high and tannins are still young, but softened with decanting. Lotd of ripe fruit on the palate, and more leather on the finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.
Cune Gran Reserva 2012 is produced by Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España and is a mature full-bodied red blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo. Look for bright red berry fruit, plum, meaty and cedar spice flavours on the palate. The wine was matured in barrel for two years and in bottle for three prior to its release. Tannins are soft and rounded. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
