Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Very pretty and lots of different notes happening. Aromas of pineapple and grapefruit, along with green grass and herbs, and some creamy lemon. Medium bodied and creamy on the palate from aging on lees, along with ripe pineapple and grapefruit on the palate, along with fresh herbaceous notes. Enjoy with summer salads, or fresh seafood.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fruit-dominant nose with plenty of grapefruit, passion fruit, guava, and some apple, though layered with sweet black licorice, cream, oak, and fresh herbs. Palate equally exciting and interesting with pink grapefruit, pineapple, herbal tea, candied lemon, and almond. Acidity is well maintained for the hot vintage, and gives potential for some aging and development. Creekside makes three passes through the Sauvignon Blanc block in the estate vineyard. The first pass, with the highest acidity, goes to the bubbly. The second pass is for the regular Savvy. The final pass with the first and most complex fruit is destined for the Reserve. Fermented and aged for 10 months on lees in French oak. Four barrels and two puncheons, one new, yielded 143 cases. Bronze medal winner at the 2018 Decanter World Wine Awards. Enjoy with creamy pasta and seafood dishes.
