Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Red Tractor wines, an homage to the local family-run farmers that grow the grapes these wines are made from and led by innovative winemaker, Yvonne Irvine. In a fun, hardy stout bottle, this Merlot dominant blend is rounded off with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Medium ruby coloured with cherry, strawberry, cedar and graphite mineral aromas. The flavours reveal smoky plums wild woody berries and spicy red peppers lingering into the back alongside well integrated acidity. Young, medium to light bodied and easy drinking with lightly gripping tannins. In comparison to the 2017 vintage, just a hint more unified and an awesome pairing with sausages. Tasted October 2020
Rich and delicious with dark plum, ripe cherry and toasty oak flavours on the palate The Red Tractor line honours the people who worth with vine and wine. This Niagara red is a rich blend of mostly Merlot with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with a satisfying finish. - Community Wine Reviews
