Creekside Estate Winery Shiraz 2006 Wine Review

A blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Viognier. The Viognier and Shiraz were co-fermented in small bins, followed by full malolactic fermentation in barrel. The wine was then put in to barrel and aged for 21 months. The final cuvee was a blend of 100% French oak. Bottled September 8th 2008. A cedar-cherry rich wine with a velvet texture. Medium- to full-bodied. Some cranberry, black raspberry and spice notes. Available at the winery.
