Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Made from 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon, this is a dry, medium-bodied White with crisp acidity and a beautiful texture. The first wiff offers grassy notes followed by peach, petrol, citrus, mineral notes and hints of beeswax. On the palate, the flavours are of peach, clementine, subtle chives, and a touch of honey without the sweetness.

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Broad and intriguing nose with creamy, buttery, oak spice, banana, tropical fruit notes, and just a bit of Semillon kernel. Pleasant balance of acidity and creaminess on the palate with a lovely mouthfeel. Lemon and citrus notes really brighten the palate and finish. This Bordeaux-inspired white blend, 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon with nine months of French oak, will pair perfectly with shellfish, sushi, or veal dishes.
Iconoclast 2017 is a Semillon, Sauvignon white wine blend from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. A classic Bordeaux-style white Meritage, softly floral on the nose with ripe melon, clean yellow apple, citrus, light herb flavours on the palate. Chill and pair with an equally fresh green salad topped with steamed freshwater shrimp. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
