Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From one of New Zealand’s renowned wine growing regions, this merlot offers heaps of red fruit interwoven with cedar and smoky herbal notes. Soft tannins and medium bodied, this merlot is predominately ruby red but shows attractive purple hues, too.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Craggy Range Te Kahu Merlot Gimblett Gravels Hawke’s Bay 2016, reveals flavors of red plum, cherry, bay leaf, vanilla and cedar. Well made merlot, not overripe, with a delicious lingering fruit flavor on the palate. Tasted at New-Zealand Wine Pure Discovery, May 2019.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
