Vintages Wine Panel: A quintessentially Italian wine, this is classic Amarone. Offers delectable aromas of chocolate, coffee bean, oak, and black cherry fruit. Medium bodied, dry and perfectly balanced with notes of chocolate, spice and a fruity core and finish. My note: Juicy purple plums and cherry liqueur. Huge concentration and extraction. Long finish.

Amarone Della Valpolicella food pairings: grilled steak, tortellini.

Corinna Horton rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Let's not mess around, DAM I LOVE THIS WINE! Ripe fruity falvour, rich cherry undertones and plum-toffee finish, it's a beautifully balenced wine and a solid value. This is not a wine with legs, this is a wine with thunder thighs! Can't believe I resisted it for a whole 10 days as it sat, 'aging' in my wine rack, it got dusty. Should the makers of this stunner elect to send me a case to test my resistance to their charms further, I hereby accept that challenge.
