Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow, is this Pinot Noir smooth? Yes, this wine glides over the mid-palate like liquid red velvet. Sensuous with crushed ripe cherries and soft cake spice on the nose, this is a dry, medium-bodied PN, subtle and elegant with ripe dark cherries, light savoury herbs, nutmeg and allspice flavours on the palate. Drinking great now but could easily hold for three years or more. Lightly chill and pair with a cherry-wood smoked duck breast, or roast Cornish hens with a wild mushroom stuffing. 575 cases produced.

This vintage was awarded Silver at the 2018 National Wine Awards of Canada.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Garnet with an orange hue and watery rim. Well balanced, integrating fine medium-low tannins, bright mouthwatering acidity. Tart, dusty mouthfeel. Ripe pomegranate, aged leather, earthy minerality, tart cherry, clove. Medium finish with persistence of cherry, pomegranate and dusty limestone. Paired well with a charcuterie platter and garlic crustinis. Tasted 2017 vintage in June 2018. 90 points
