Natalie's Score: 90/100

Loaded with chocolate, mocha and espresso notes on the nose with sweet black cherry of this Californian red wine blend. Full-bodied, supple and smooth, and brought to us by Charlie Wagner and Caymus. Try it with Mexican mole. Very concentrated and intense with a long finish. Pair with a rare steak.

Red food pairings: chocolate fondue, dark chocolate torte, chocolate and raspberry ganache torte.

Reviews and Ratings

Paul Lupinacci rated this wine as 92/100
Produced by Charles F. Wagner, proprietor, a robust blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and other grapes. Very sweet and chocolatey. Belongs in the dessert wine category though technically not sweet. - Community Wine Review.
