Reviews and Ratings

Molly Amoli Shinhat reviewed this wine as follows:

Cono Sur Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé, is a pale salmon pleasure! With aromas of raspberry, and notes of earth and leaf, on the palate it gives raspberry, rhubarb, with a bracing acidity, typical of Pinot Noir. Medium-bodied and refreshing, at 11 g/l residual sugar, it's got enough to stand up to salt and some spice, but a low a.b.v - 12.5% - seals the deal and ensures it doesn't overwhelm the food.

The grapes are hand picked and grown in Chile's Bío Bío Valley. It's made using the charmat method, and aged 4 months in stainless steel tanks.

It's a perfect partner for dry Punjabi (North Indian) subjis like aloo kale (or saag (spinach) aloo). It also pairs beautifully with summer fare like sandwiches and vegetarian salads. A great sipper for a long wintry evening or a hot summer night.

This wine is yet another example of why it pays both as an experience and in the wallet to pay much closer attention to Chilean Pinot Noir. Yes, you can spend loads of money and buy a pinot from Aconcagua (Chile) that could rival Burgundy's offerings, but you can also buy inexpensive Pinot Noirs like this sparkling one, that frankly are a delight!

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
