Conde de Valdemar Gran Reserva 2010 is a dry, full-bodied and mature Rioja red blend of 85% Tempranillo, 10% Mazuelo and 5% Graciano sourced from the winery's oldest vineyards. A mature Rioja red with a lovely balance of fruit to freshness with plenty of black currant, black cherry, anise, sweet tobacco leaf and balsamic notes, savoury, refined and silky on the palate, it is drinking beautifully now. The wine was aged 26 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels and then another 48 months in bottle prior to its release. - Community Wine Reviews
