Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium garnet in colour. Pronounced aromas of cherry, plum, cassis, cinnamon, tobacco and leather. A tiny touch of black tea in there as well. Developing with intense flavours of bing cherry, blackberry and coffee. Medium plus acidity with a medium body and tannins. Delightfully dry with an herbal, dried fruit finish. Outstanding QPR @16.95 a bottle. Perfect for holiday and group get togethers. Enjoy with herbed lamb cutlets and cured Spanish sausages. 89 points. December 2017
Conde de Valdemar Crianza (2012) is a red wine blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo red wine grapes. From the Rueda wine region, this robust Spanish red is great value for under $20. The estate-bottled wine was matured in American oak barrels for 15 months. - Community Wine Reviews
