Dark aromas of blueberry, cassis, blackberry, black pepper, and meaty smokiness. The taste is blackberry, dark cherry, and black pepper. Nice acidity.

Red currant and blackberry on the nose. The palate offers the same with some cassis and a lingering finish with very fine tannins.

Big, bold Cabernet Sauvignon …
Presentation: Old-world style label, but it looks like it could be on a cigar box.
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby
Nose: Green peppers, anise, wood, grass
Taste: Green wood, tight, sour berries.
Finish: Kind of falls flat in the back with some leather and green wood.
Overall impression: Big, bold Cabernet Sauvignon.
Value: 3 out of 5
