A solid citizen of a wine! Full-bodied and savoury with cedar brush and wild cassis aromas. This Washington state red wine is made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Pair with a pepper steak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: lamb Bolognese, grilled New York striploin, barbecued ribs in sauce, hard cheese, braised pork shanks.

Reviews and Ratings

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Opaque purple with aromas of smoky black, black plum, cocoa, wet stone, and a touch of earth. For taste, smoky fruit filly your mouth, with some of the chocolate and wet stone showing as well. Medium very fine tannins and medium acidity; very nicely balanced between opulent and restrained.
Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Columbia Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 features dark berry fruit, blackberry, and nice oak. This full bodied wine would pair very nicely with roast beef. Very good value! (90/100)
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Plum, vanilla and cedar aromas and flavors with some cinnamon and chocolate flavors on the palate. Tannis are soft in the fruit forward finish.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ripe plums, oak and a hint of cocoa on the nose, with dark fruit, cedar, mint, cocoa and oak on the palate. Fruit flavours a bit overripe for my liking in a Cab Sauv.
