Collina Serragrilli Serraia 2018 Barbera D'alba is fragrant with black currant, cherry and spice aromas. The wine is dry, full-bodied with layers of blackberry, plum, fine dried herb, spicy and polished on the palate with a long, juicy finish. Delicious now, but will continue to evolve in bottle. Pour with a meat-lover's pizza.

Barbera D'alba food pairings: beef stew, hard cheese, grilled farmers pork chops, sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful and fresh, aromas of cherry and cranberry, with notes of underbrush, smoke and spice. Medium bodied, with bright acidity, and firm, grippy tannins, bright berry notes that are ripe fresh but still with a hint of tartness. Enjoy with duck or roasted leg of lamb.
