Superb quality, depth, complexity and richness in this dessert wine. Classic port in all its best ways, yet incredibly well-priced too. Aromas of blackberry jam and smoke. Pair with chocolate cheesecake.

Reviews and Ratings

Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Warming flavours of baked cherries, toffee, nuts, black pepper, cloves, and dried fruit, this Vintage Port displays complexity and long length on the finish.
Pair with blue cheese, nuts, charcuterie, or butter tarts.
Drink now, or cellar until 2020 and beyond.
Date tasted: November 2014.
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Reductive and a bit syrupy up front, with mascerated prunes and sherry cask notes. Nice ripeness on the mid, which subsequently comes back with a slightly cloying raisin character. Cedar, cigar box, raisins and spice. Great with blue cheeses of all kinds, preserved walnuts and dried fruit.
