A lovely Prince Edward County Chardonnay from winemaker Keith Tyers. Full-bodied, layered and complex with aromas of Asian pear, peach, green apple and toasty oak. Balancing acidity and deep minerality. Long finish. Pair with grilled chicken or seafood with pasta in a cream sauce.

Chardonnay food pairings: ravioli served with Alfredo sauce, lobster in butter sauce, fish tacos, gougère.

Reviews and Ratings

Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Butterscotch-baked-apple heaven on the nose. Creamy, nutty, more apple, pear, and peachy notes on the palate. A Mouthful of rich texture with refreshing minerality on the finish. A stunning example of Ontario Chardonnay!
I Would love to try this with traditional Swiss cheese fondue!
From Prince Edward County wine region, Closson, Chase Vineyard 2017 is a clean, crisp and vibrant, medium-bodied Chardonnay with fresh pear, apple and balanced toasty oak, butterscotchy, nutty and lemon pudding flavours on the palate. Great acidity for food. Pair with a Swiss cheese fondue and fresh, sliced apple and pear. - Community Wine Reviews
