Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale gold coloured with vibrant aromas of melon, peach and fresh herbs. Primarily fennel, oregano and lemon grass with chalky minerals to note. Flavours reveal cantaloupe, lemon citrus and a touch of honey. Bright acidity with a light body and finish. Minerals stay throughout and lingering alongside some spicy white pepper carrying into the back. Perfect accompaniment for any seafood dishes. Enjoy!
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Golden straw in colour with aromas of lime, peach and pear. It is medium bodied with lots of mouthwatering acidity with citrus flavours on the palate. This will pair well with seafood, green salads and soft cheeses. Tasted on March 2, 2020 at Taste Ontario in Ottawa.
From Four Mile Creek, Niagara-on-the-Lake wine region, Closson Chase K.J. Watson Vineyard 2018 Pinot Gris is creamy, rich and smooth on the palate with lemon custard, tropical fruit and cake spice flavours balanced with lip-smacking acidity and a briny mineral finish.
