This is a full-bodied, well-priced Bordeaux red wine blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec grapes. Aromas of fleshy blackberries and black plums with toasty oak and smoke. This winery has been owned by the Raimond family for three generations. Decant for 1-2 hours and pair with a rare steak, game dishes or hard cheeses.

Chateaux Solidaires Château Haut Lalande (2015) is a dry, medium-plus bodied red wine blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec sourced from the Côtes De Bordeaux - Blaye. Look for ripe plum and dark berry notes on this very approachable and well-priced red from the Bordeaux wine region. - Community Wine Reviews
