From Saint Estèphe, Bordeaux wine region, Château Tour des Termes 2018 is a classic 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon red wine blend, spicy and smoky on the nose with ripe dark fruit, raspberry, violets and well-integrated toasty oak spice elegant and savoury on the palate. The wine was aged for 15 months in French oak barrels from Allier (45% new). The Château Tour des Termes has its name from the old tower located on a plot called “the Terms”. The origin of this tower dates back to the Gallo-Roman era, and where the remains of boat moorings mark the entrance of an outer harbour at the ancient city Gallo Romain Brion located a few kilometres away. Currently, the property is managed by renowned oenologists Eric Boissenot and Christophe Coupez.

Food pairings: filet mignon, roast rabbit, partridge.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
