This 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc red wine blend is a great value, medium-bodied Bordeaux Supérieur. Look for vibrant cherry, dark plum, capsicum, earthy and spicy flavours on the palate. Tannins are easy, Enjoy now with a grilled pepper steak.

Food pairings: grilled sirloin steak, meat fondue, barbequed ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Chateau Saint-Antoine, Reserve du Chateau 2015, made from 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, shows aromas of red plum, cherry, eucalyptus, pencil lead, dill, tobacco and cedar. Great day to day wine, this Bordeaux Superieur will please with its supple tannins, medium body and lovely fruity finish. Fun fact: Chateau Saint-Antoine is owned by Chateau Couspaude, maker of a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe, which benefits from a professional team to create such beautiful wine. Palate: plum, raspberry, black pepper, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, spice and cedar. Enjoy!
Château Saint-Antoine 2015 is a great value Bordeaux under $16. Easy to enjoy with its ripe black currant, bell pepper and dark chocolate flavours finishing flinty with good acidity for food. Pair with blue cheese, grilled steak or enjoy on its own. - Community Wine Reviews
