Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely, and great value for the price! Aromas of black currant, blackberry, sweet tobacco and warm spice. Full bodied with young tannins, bright acidity, and ripe fruit on the palate, with more spice and leather hints on the finish. Enjoy with Sunday prime rib.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A lovely every day wine, the Chateau Roc de Levraut 2017 provides a great quality for value. This Bordeaux Superieur from Vignobles Ballarin shows aromas of black cherry, black plum, violet, leather, allspice and cedar. Made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine delivers a medium body with a nice balance for its vintage. The finish is long and round, satisfying any Bordeaux wine lover. Palate: cherry, dark skin plum, rose, truffle, tobacco, baking spice and cedar. Enjoy!
Produced by Remy Ballarin, Château Roc De Levraut 2017 is a great value, medium-plus-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot red wine blend under $16. rich with ripe blackberry, bright cherry, meaty, spicy and dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Tannins are approachable and silky. Pair with burgers and ribs. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2018 Concours de Bordeaux. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
