A full-bodied 85% Merlot with the balance in Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc red wine blend produced by Vignobles Xavier Milhade, from vineyards near the Fronsac wine region in Bordeaux. Great value under $20. Ripe cherry, sweet herb and earthy florals on the nose with fresh red and dark berry, red cherry, dried tobacco leaf and baking spice flavours on the palate. The wine saw elevage in cement tanks. Pair with roast beef.

Food pairings: lamb cutlets, beef tenderloin, pork shoulder roast.

Château Recougne Bordeaux Superieur is a Merlot-dominated red wine. This is a full-bodied red with spiced plum, sweet dried herbs and earthy florals aromas, fresh with dark berry, red cherry and baking spice flavours on the palate. The wine saw elevage in cement tanks. Pair with roast beef. Enjoy now with grilled sirloin steak. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
