Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon, Vieilles Vignes 2017, shows attractive aromas of blackberry, prune, black pepper, clay dust, leather, vanilla and oak. Quality and structure are evident from the first sip. Full-bodied and well balanced, with a long and fruity finish that allows the time to enjoy the wine sip after sip. Palate: black currant, blackberry, black pepper, dried herbs, coffee, spice and oak. Enjoy!
Chateau Los Boldos Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is produced from Old Vines Cab. Sauv. planted in 1948. Smoky with ripe, dark berry fruit aromas on the nose, this full-bodied red is dry and smooth with dark cherries, menthol, pepper cedar spice finishing flinty and with mineral flavours on the palate. Still quite young, but well-balanced and tasty. Enjoy now with grilled game sausages or grilled spider steaks in a rich onion and mushroom sauce. Yum. - Community Wine Reviews
