Reviews and Ratings

Nina rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:

Very elegant aged Bordeaux. A pleasure to drink.
Garnet in the glass, dark red core with brownish rim.
Beautiful, deep nose offers notes of cassis, dried fruit, leather, black pepper.
The palate is dry, medium bodied with a firm structure from very balanced tannins and fresh acidity. Flavors of the nose replaying on the palate dark berries, dried cherries, herbal notes, berry pie.
The finish is lovely and long. exciting because of its age.
A Gold Medal winner at the 2006 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. This Gold Medal winner offers a ruby colour in the glass, and offers notes of cassis, cedar and dried fruit. The palate is dry, toasty with nicely echoed fruits, crisp acidity and structure-lending tannins. The finish is lovely and long. This is a great value for Médoc and is even more exciting because of its age. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
