Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Vacqueyras really hits the mark, with gorgeous aromas and flavours of black briars, plum skin, white pepper, camphor, graphite, melted licorice, garrigue, and fresh dark flowers. Drink now through 2022. 92 Points.
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I could research it to confirm it, but I'll leave that to you if you wish. This tasted like it had a much higher percentage of Syrah than I associate Vaqueyras with. Medium weight, fully dry with a freshness to the berry fruits. Made more complex with a herbs on the finish. Enjoy
Château Des Roques Cuvée Du Château 2013 is a full-bodied deep and dark Vacqueyras from the Rhône wine region. The 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah red wine blend is smoky with dried herbs, crushed raspberry and red cherry flavours on the palate. This wine was aged in stainless steel and oak barrel for nine months. Tannins are fine-grained and grippy. Pair with a prime rib for sure. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
