Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cherry and raspberry, with notes of dried savoury herbs, black pepper, and a green herbal note. Full bodied, smooth and soft on the palate with ripe berry notes and an herbal, spicy note on the finish. Enjoy with hearty, slow braised winter stews.
Château de Nages 2017 is great value under $20. Intense and smooth on the palate with dark cherry, dark raspberry, anise and cake spice flavours fresh and vibrant on the palate. Produced from vielles vignes 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Carignan sourced from the Costières De Nîmes wine region. Pair with a raspberry balsamic roasted root vegetable dish. The Syrah is aged in previous-use barrels with the balance in concrete tank. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
