Reviews and Ratings

Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Heady toasty, vanilla oak nuances are evenly matched by bright orchard and stone fruit nuances and tempting brioche notes. Medium in body, with a smooth, creamy texture and nice depth of ripe fruit and zesty citrus that lingers on the finish. A hint of bitterness serves to enhance the complexity and "food friendliness" of this pretty white.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is an interesting blend from the Costières de Nîmes appelation. A blend of 40% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 15% Clairette and the balance Bourboulenc and Viognier. The Roussanne and Viognier were fermented in old barrels and the Grenache and Clairette in concrete tanks. Lovely pear and grapefruit aromas but as it opens up buttery notes come forward. Smooth, almost oily mouthfeel with a medium buttery finish. I paired this with brie and camembert cheese on crostini topped with a pear slice and sausage. It was a match made in heaven. Tasted March 2017.
Château De Nages Vieilles Vignes (2014) from the Costières De Nîmes is a wine produced by Michel Gassier. The white wine blend is 40% Roussanne, 30% Grenache Blanc, 15% Clairette with the balance in Viognier and Bourboulenc. The wine has spent some time on its lees giving it more structure and complexity. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
