Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A highly floral nose on this pretty and delicate wine. Peach blossom and citrus blossom for sure. Gentle notes of citrus, pear, and peach over a mild minerality. Extra dry with bracing acidity. Perfect for leftover turkey sandwiches or poached trout.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a clean and smooth Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley. Juicy tart green apples are prominent on the nose and palate with bracing acidity on the finish. This wine demands your attention and is probably best enjoyed with food. Serve with seared tuna steaks or goat cheese salad. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Perrone rated this wine as 72/100
From Saumur in the Loire wine region, Château De Montguéret 2017 is a mouth-watering Chenin Blanc with ripe stone fruit, poached pear and lime zest flavours on the palate finishing with a stony minerality. Enjoy now or hold for five years. Samur's Chenin Blanc wines are known for their ability to age. Chill and enjoy with a maple-glazed ham. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
