This full-bodied, tasty red is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot grapes. It offers rich aromas and flavours of black and purple plums, great depth and length. There's some dried herbs and smoke on the finish. Smooth, balanced and delicious. Great price.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full bodied and flavourful. A lovely Haut-Medoc blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Merlot (50%), and Petit Verdot (10%). Aromas of purple and black fruit, leather, dried oregano, smoke and warm spice. Full bodied, smooth tannins and medium + acidity and a lengthy finish. Enjoy with a lovely rare steak. Tasted again in 2020, still lots of dark, vibrant fruit and spice. Plenty of life left.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a Bordeaux blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot from the Haut Medoc. Plenty of fruit; plum and black cherry on the nose and palate as well as some smoke and cocoa. Lush with smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Medium finish. Tasted January 15, 2017.
