Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A classic Sancerre with restrained white blossoms on the nose with a bit of talc. It is bone dry, just short of austere. The palate is showing grass, asparagus and minerality. Nice balance. Pair with pasta primavera or seafood linguine. Tasted January 2020.. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Sauvignon Blanc varietal from Loire, France, this Sancerre has floral and mineral aromas. Dried citrus on the palate with high acidity and an extra dry finish. Pair with seafood, poultry or French herbs in a cream sauced dish. This wine can be aged for a couple of more years. Tasted January 2020.
From the Loire wine region, this Sancerre is produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes. vibrant on the palate with bright citrus, chalky, flinty mineral flavours mouth-watering on the palate. This 15-hectare vineyard surrounds one of the rare castles in Sancerre, in St Gemme. Fermented in stainless-steel tank and aged on its lees six months prior to bottling. Chill and pour with smoked salmon or an herbed flatbread topped with warm goat cheese. - Community Wine Reviews
