Malbec is making a comeback to the Cahors. The Roche family has been cultivating vines here since 1773. This Malbec is robust with layers of ripe, dark fruit, blueberry, expresso, savoury spice and smoky vanilla flavours on the palate. So good and so is the price. Pair with a juicy prime rib roast.

Malbec food pairings: hamburgers, pizza, Irish stew, hodge podge, spaghetti and meat balls.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This full bodied blend of Malbec and Merlot from a renowned French wine producing region bursts with black fruit flavours and aromas that lead to elegant flint, eucalyptus and coffee notes. Tasted in June 2019.
Prestige 2015 is a full-bodied and warm Malbec from the Cahors region in Southwest France. Look for dark plum and blueberry fruit flavours finishing with toasty vanilla and espresso flavours from oak ageing. Pair with grilled steaks. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
