From Haut Médoc, Bordeaux wine region, Château Coufran 2009 is very elegant showing great quality and depth of fruit. A very impressive and expressive Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon red wine blend, it is dry, full-bodied and fragrant with plum compote, dark berry, black cherry, black currant, sweet spices, loamy flavours long and supple on the palate. Tannins are velvety and it is drinking beautifully now through 2026.

Food pairings: slow-braised veal ribs, lamb ragu, medallions of veal in a rich mushroom sauce.
