Natalie's Score: 91/100

Brought to us by Philip Grant, Proprietor, this dry, very elegant, lovely French rosé offers everything you want: great rosehip-dry cherry taste yet not overbearing. The iron and quartz content of the gravel soils in which the vines for this wine are planted are perfectly suited to the Négrette grapes used for this wine. Very balanced rosé with outdoorsy, meadow fresh aromas, including wild berries. Spectacularly great price! Perfect aperitif or companion to seafood or cold chicken sandwiches.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Love the crispness of this rose. Beautiful on the nose, with fragrances of strawberry, grapefruit melon and delicate rose petals. The taste doesn't disappoint as all of these flavors come through on the palate. Recommend with crisp seasonal green salad toasted pumpkin seeds, goat cheese, and crumbled kale chips.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Strawberry, melon, light herbs on the nose
Reinforced on the palate, lovely refreshing acidty

Spinach and strawberry salad
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Heady floral aromas, flavours of tangerine and grapefruit, with a nice dry finish make this a very food friendly wine.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A beautiful blush pink wine and an inviting nose! Fresh strawberry, raspberry and honeydew melon are the key notes and last right through to a clean crisp finish. A whiff of cotton candy comes around here and there; but have no fear, this wine is dry. Well balanced acidity, light bodied and pairs phenomenally with beets and prosciutto salad topped with fresh herbed goat cheese.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Subtle aromas of strawberry, tart cherry, and something almost candy-like. Dry on the palate, which balances those sweet aromas nicely. Great value, perfect with summer salads and patio weather.
Jane LeFresne rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A well priced rose to try especially if you are hesitant about this type of wine. This french rose has aromas of grapefruit, cherry, slight brioche. Flavours of red apple and pink grapefruit make this an easy sipping wine.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

With the intensity of the color, i was expecting a richer nose.It is rather discreet. A little bush of wild strawberries, maybe? The mouth is a bit more intense, still on the wild berries side, with some ripe apples thrown in. To be paired with a chicken breast salad, while you're on your diet, to help boost your morale. Certainly not a sweet rosé.
Love this dry rose from southern France! Aromas of fresh wild strawberries in a sun-dappled field along with dried herbs and fresh meadow. So pretty, so refreshing, so want. - Community Wine Reviews
