Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This 70% Merlot/30% Cab Franc blend has a fresh nose of subtle black fruit with a hint of mint and violet. Subtle dried raspberries on the palate. Tannins are still firm. Treat yourself to this after a couple more years in the cellar. Pair with steak or beef bourguignon. Tasted July 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An elegant wine from Puisseguin Saint-Emilion, Chateau Beausejour Cuvee Speciale 2015 shows beautiful quality and classic aromas of black cherry, blueberry, tobacco leaf, cocoa, leather, caramel and oak. Made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, this wine delivers elegant structure and polished tannins. The finish is round and lingering, offering flavors of black currant, black plum, bay leaf, graphite, dill, spice and cedar. Enjoy!
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Merlot-dominated Right Bank blend with a healthy 30% dose of Cabernet Franc and 15 months of oak aging. Generous aromas of plum, blackberry, and blueberry. Lovely ripeness, smooth and rounded tannins, and fresh acidity. Tannins grip through the palate and finish while the wine shows off a balance of ripe, nearly jammy dark fruit and barrel influence. Good now, best in a few years. This has steak and lamb written all over it.
From Château Beauséjour 2015 from the Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion wine region, a fragrant Merlot and Cabernet Franc red wine blend with ripe blackberry, black cherry, underbrush and mineral flavours on the palate. Dry, medium-plus-body and great acidity for food. Would benefit a few more years in cellar to show its best. - Community Wine Reviews
