A firm tannic grip on this big Washington state red wine. Cellar a few years then decant 2 hours and pair with a rare steak. Aromas of black fruit and toasty oak.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: prime rib roast, gourmet hamburgers, Salisbury steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Wow! Plum, black cherry and a hint of nutmeg and mint. On the palate some nice rich cherry, light skinned plum, dark chocolate, hazelnut and pepper. Not stemmy, nice fresh veggie characters here too. Medium-full body, medium minus ripe tannins. Dry and well rounded. Pair with rib steak or pork ribs and football!

This is an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon (2014) from Washington made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of blackberry, blueberry, earthy and savoury notes on this Cab. The wine was matured in French oak and is unfiltered so do expect sediment on the wine and carefully decant prior to serving, or cellar for four or five years. - Community Wine Reviews
