Unparalleled quality and flavour in this off-dry, mouth-watering Ontario white wine. Superb craftsmanship in this benchmark Niagara Riesling. You simply won't find better than this. Incredible depth and concentration of flavour yet ephemerally light in alcohol. The best of all worlds: pure hedonism without the headache. Pair with happiness.

Riesling food pairings: roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura, grilled salmon with lemon sauce, duck liver pate.

Reviews and Ratings

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is a classic, and beautiful indeed! That 'cut summer hose' or 'opened can of tennis balls' petrol character is starting to show its beautiful self, and there are whifs of mango and peach. Cellar for 10-15 more years, and gain even more of that complexity.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Lots in balance with this wine, between the acidity, body, and flavours. Aromas of lime zest and a slightly petrol hint. Light and smooth on the palate but still very flavourful. Light on alcohol but acidity and a bit of residual sugar help lengthen out the finish. Enjoy with light seafood dishes.
Charles Baker Picone Vineyard 2015 is an off-dry, zesty Riesling from Vinemount Ridge, Niagara Escarpment. On the palate, look for crunch green apple, lime zest and honey notes. Charles Baker has been working the Picone Vineyard on Vinemount Ridge since 2005. The oldest vines are over 40 years of age. Pair with a Bavarian pork roast. - Community Wine Reviews
