Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromatic and juicy, the Siendra 2016 from Chapillon Estate located in Aragon, Spain, offers aromas dried strawberry, black berry, orange peel, black tea, crush gravel and pie crust. A blend of 80% Old Garnacha, 7% Syrah, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot gives this wine a nice balance and a full body. The finish delivers a dark fruity finish with some minerality notes. Palate: roasted plum, dark cherry, lavender, clay pot, pie crust and cedar. Enjoy.
Produced by Bodegas Langa Hnos in the Catalayud wine region, Chapillon Siendra 2016 is a dry, full-bodied Grenache red wine blend with dark fruit compote olive, savoury herb and dark chocolate flavours on the palate finishing long and satisfying. Tannins are easy to manage. Pair with roast duck. - Community Wine Reviews
