Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

An ultra high-class white Burgundy for under $25. It is so well-constructed, with poached apple, white stone fruit, brioche, lanolin, wet wool, and citrus. 92 Points.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Big on the palate, rich, complex and available at an accessible price point. Flinty minerality, stone fruit, baked bread, savoury. Full bodied, medium plus acidity. Pair with baked filet of sole. Tasted 2015 vintage in Sept 2018. 92 points. Exceptional value. Buy by the case.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon with a green hue. Gorgeous aromas, apples and lime zest. Like walking in a white flower garden, white blossoms and clean pomelo citrus pith with flinty poignant minerals. Flavours are so enjoyable. Green apple, white grapefruit citrus and light gentle chive spice. Enjoy with light summer salads and friends. 91 points - tasted September 2018
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

a beautiful, well-priced, old world burgundy chardonnay. Balanced, touch to toastiness, lingering acidity. Pairs well with creamy dressing salad and any fish dishes.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a complex old world style white burgundy. A pale yellow colour does not foreshadow the sharper mix of citrus, minerals, yeast and savoury spice. Yet it is smooth in the mouth and well balanced. It would be great paired with your Thanksgiving Turkey dinner. Tasted September 16, 2018.
Chanson Père & Fils Viré-Clessé 2015 is a lovely expressive Burgundian Chardonnay. Look for ripe peach, apple pie, sweet spice and a touch of salinity on the palate. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
