Natalie's Score: 92/100

More earthy and smoky, less fruity than the other Champy pinot in this release, but no less spectacular. These are amazing wines for the price point: so vibrant and beautifully structured yet medium-bodied liquid silk that slides down ever so easily. There's a lovely hazelnut smoke on the finish. This is my personal favourite and I'll be buying a lot of it. Yay!

Pinot Noir food pairings: beef bourguignon, coq au vin.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted in 2020, with quite a bit of brightness remaining. Aromas of red cherry, earth, cedar smoke and leather. medium bodied, with some light drying tannins, and lots of tart cherry and ripe raspberry on the palate, and a smoky finish. Enjoy with planked salmon.
