Natalie's Score: 93/100

A full-bodied Brunello di Montalcino made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown at an altitude of 400 metres. This wine matured in stainless steel for four months and then matured for 32 months in Slavonian oak casks prior to bottling. The wine is deep garnet-red in the glass with an earthy, savoury spice nose. Look for bright dark cherry, dried red berry and savoury spice flavours on this Brunello made for a grilled prime rib.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: rich lasagne, meat lover's pizza, spaghetti Bolognese.

From the Tuscany wine region, Cerbaia 2014 Brunello Di Montalcino is drinking at its peak now. Produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown at an altitude of 400 metres. This wine matured in stainless steel for four months and then matured for 32 in Slavonian oak tuns prior to bottling. Bright with red plum, red beery, earthy florals and anise spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are structured. Enjoy with grilled meats or meaty stews. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
