A lovely BC white wine made from Pinot Gris grapes. Aromas of white melon, Asian pear, floral fruit and cantalope. Grapes come from the winery's upper CedarCreek Vineyard. They're picked when black bears start making their way through the estate's "bear-proof" fence, as the bears seem to enjoy the same level of sweetness and ripeness that winemaker Darryl Brooker does, though their food pairings differ. About 13% of this wine is barrel fermented. Pair with fresh halibut and light seafood dishes.

Pinot Gris food pairings: seafood, shellfish.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
