A rustic, full-bodied Chianti at a nice price. Firm tannins with aromas of sour cherry. It's a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo and Colorino grapes. This is the fourth largest winery in Tuscany. Decant 1 hour and pair with rare meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Tasty tart cherry, savoury herb. Full bodied, big dusty tannins, integrated medium alcohol. Balanced. Accessibly priced, crowd pleaser for Social gatherings. Pair with antipasti, tomato based pasta dishes. Tasted 2015 vintage after decanting 2 hours. 89 points.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A yummy rustic Chianti with prominent cherry, dried sage and a faint olive oil aromas. Flavours are juicy showcasing cherry, fine developing tannins, and a long cherry-herbed finish. Enjoy with Italian meatballs. Tasted July 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
