Liquid gorgeous year after year, Cave Spring delivers this late harvest Riesling for our drinking pleasure. Apricot peach blossom. Perfect for angel food cake and fruit-based desserts. The Riesling grapes for this dessert wine are picked later in the fall, well after those from the dry style table wine. The result is much more concentrated flavours and fruit sweetness like apricot preserves. Pair this terrific wine with blue cheeses and toasted almonds.

Riesling food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Always one of my favourites vintage after vintage. Aromas and flavours of sweet Niagara orchard fruits - peach, apricot, pear, apple with lifts of nectar and sweet baking spices and meed. The colour in the glass is a brilliant amber reminiscent of autumn leaves. Savour each sip on it's own or pair with vanilla bean ice cream or warm apple pie. Great value!

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Late harvested grapes give maximum flavour. Honey, lemon and apricot aromas start off this beautiful wine, echoed on palate along with lanolin and lemon curd. Rich, satiny, luxurious. Excellent accompaniment to blue cheeses, pate, or alone as dessert. Fantastic gift wine.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Quality for a bargain! An affordable expression of such a luxurious wine at a fraction of the cost. Prominent notes include candied orange peel and apricot puree! I boast an unctuous mouthfeel and long wildflower honey finish. Tasted Feb 2017 by @sommsosa
The Riesling wine grapes for this Niagara Peninsula dessert wine from Cave Spring Cellars were picked late in the concentrating the flavours of this lusciously sweet dessert wine. Indian Summer Select Late Harvest (2013) is apricot compote, honey and finishes with a zingy citrus on the palate. Perfect for sipping all by itself or with blue cheeses and roasted nuts. - Community Wine Reviews
