Reviews and Ratings

Jeremy Sprott rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Sour cherry, menthol, sweet spice, leather and pencil shavings all come through on the nose. Please cherry and red berry fruit are complimented by minerality, pepper and herbaceous elements in the mouth. Long sour cherry finish. Terrific Cabernet Franc! I enjoyed it with pan roasted quail, but would also go nicely with other game and grilled meat.
Bright red-ruby. Perfumed, precise aromas of red berries, cassis leaf, violet and minty white pepper; very cabernet franc! Penetrating, fairly concentrated dark berry and strawberry flavors are complemented by notes of red cherry jam and minerals. The finish is smoothly tannic and almost tart, thanks to copious juicy acidity. Score: 90 Source: Source: Ian D’Agata, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Feb. 2012
