Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

80% Pinot Blanc and 20% Pinot Auxerrois employed with the methode traditionelle as with all French Sparkling wines. This sparkler has familiar yeast notes as well as green apple, red apple, bread. Not overly complex. Large bubbles, frothy and medium length on a crisp finish. Good value. Serve with fatty holiday foods, turkey with stuffing.
Tasted: December 20014
The grapes for this Burgundian bubbly were grown on the slopes of the famous Ribeauville fault line. They were hand-harvested, then the wine was vinified and the wine was raised (aged) for a minimum of 9 months in bottle, respecting the tradition champagne method of the region's northern neighbor. Tiny persistent bubbles bead along the sides of the glass. A toffeed, toasty, leesy character on the nose and palate here of this French bubbly. - Community Wine Reviews
