Cave De Lugny Cuvée Millésime Brut is a medium-bodied, dry Crémant De Bourgogne from Burgundy. Toasty almond and zesty citrus flavours on the palate with a hint of ripe peach and orchard fruit. Chill and enjoy on its own or pair with grilled shellfish dishes.

Crémant de Bourgogne food pairings: steamed mussels in their own juice, oyster pot pie, oyster poor boy burger.

Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a lovely pale gold in the glass with a smattering of very fine bubbles. Green apple and warm baguette dance on the nose. Some stone fruit on the lively, bone dry palate. Nice balance and tension. Very pleasant long finish. Perfect for toasting on its own or serve with pastry hors d'oeuvres. Good value. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Freshly baked biscuits and citrus blossom greet the nose before potent autolytic notes and subtle apple appear. Palate introduces a lemon note with substantial length. Minerality, lemon skin, lemon candy, and a little more citrus blossom on the impressive finish. Try with oyster bisque or Delice de Bourgogne and fresh, crusty bread.
This Crémant De Bourgogne is made in the traditional method with the same grape varietals for making Champagne but at one-third of the price. Cave De Lugny Cuvée Millésimée 2014 is dry, toasty with crunchy green apple and fine citrus zest flavours on the palate. The mousse is creamy, crisp and light. This is a great aperitif. - Community Wine Reviews
